Metro Route Map
Hyderabad metro rail is one amongst the world’s large metro rails and is the country’s first two-track elevated city transit system. The Metro will run for 72 km in the Hyderabad city.
This project has come into existence because of growing population and traffic on Hyderabad roads. Metro rail is used to transfer massive people of the Hyderabad city who are about 8millon. The first eight-kilometre Nagole–Mettuguda section of the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) will be opened for commuter traffic in March 2015. The project costs about 9696-crore.
The Hyderabad Metro Rail Network will cover a total distance of around 72 Km across three corridors:
• Corridor I : Miyapur to LB Nagar
• Corridor II : JBS to Falaknuma
• Corridor III : Nagole to Shilparamam
The Project will be integrated with existing railway stations, suburban railway network (MMTS) and bus stations to ensure seamless and comfortable travel.
