Durgam Cheruvu is a lake that is located near to Shilparamam crafts village in Hyderabad. It is spread across 83 acres of land and is also known as secret Lake. It served drinking water for the people of Golconda during the reign of Quli Qutub Shah.

Durgam Cheruvu is a place that is surrounded by heavy rocks and also there are trees grown in the middle of the rocks with the water in the middle of the Deccan Plateau make the place look like a heaven. Because of the reason there were no roads to this place and was not identified for almost twenty years and from then on it is known as secret lake. The Tourism Department in the year 2001 made this place as a tourist spot of Hyderabad and also introduced boating facility in the lake with five boats. There is also restaurant and other food courts in this place.

Durgam Cheruvu is famous for its natural beauty looks attractive and beautiful. With all the facilities included like Boating, Fishing this place has become one of the major tourist places of Hyderabad. Shootings are also conducted in this place by paying money of 75000 per day.
