NTR Gardens is located in Hyderabad with an area spread across 36 acres of land on the banks of Hussain Sager Lake around the memorial of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. This garden was a part of the Buddha Purnima Project that was being handled by (HUDA) Hyderabad urban development authority. The other tourist attractions near to this garden are Birla Mandir, Necklace Road, Lumbini Park and an IMAX theatre. There is also secretariat of Andhra Pradesh beside this garden.
This garden has lot of facilities like Machan Tree, Car Café, Japanese Garden, Children’s Park, Souvenir Shops, Ant Hill and Fruit Restaurant which attracts the tourists as well as local people. There is also a monorail in the garden with that you can have the complete look of the garden.
NTR Gardens by its nature provides oxygen (as it has big trees and bushes) to the people those are in the premises of the garden. The garden consists of 15,450 varieties of shrubs and about 2050 trees and also there are some plants that are not even available in Hyderabad. This garden is completely decorated by different types of ornamental plants which changes seasonally every year. Everyone who visits the garden can enjoy nature of the park with other types of scenarios like fountains with colourful water pumping out with the help of lighting effects, in the evenings gives an extraordinary view and an exciting experience. Light and sound shows are also organised and held for the public in the garden.
