Sanjeevaiah Park is located in the centre of Hyderabad, spread across 92 acres of land on the banks of Hussain Sagar. The park is named in the remembrance of late MR Damodaram Sanjivayya former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It is organised by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority and won the Best Open Landscape Award in the year 2010. It is considered as one of the tourist attractions in and around Hyderabad with few other tourist sites present on all sides of the park like Lumbini Park, Prasad’s IMAX, Hussain Sagar, NTR Gardens and Necklace Road.
It is a place where distinct species of birds come from different areas. Based on the arrival of these birds the experts would predict that the rainy season would start in the next 15-18 days. It is a park with different types of flowers which include rose garden, a rock garden and a floral clock. The people around the park come here for a morning walk.
