Shilpakala Vedika located in Hyderabad was open to public from the year 2002. Where Shilpa means sculpture, Kala means art, and Vedika means platform, known to be one of the famous Auditorium and Convention centre of Hyderabad. It is spread across five acres of land over 60,000 square feet of area with a seating capacity of 2000 people in the Shilparamam.

Shilpakala Vedika is an indoor Auditorium where multiple events are organised. It is a unique combination of modern technology, traditional Indian culture, vital artistic components and also the best stage for a theatre production, a grand dance drama, a film festival, a concert, or a cultural extravaganza. It is a modern Auditorium with the latest state-of-the-art in projection technology as well as a sound system using Bose technology also has an acoustic false ceiling as well as an orchestra pit, with huge and well-equipped greenrooms located on either side of the stage. It has the facility of multi-level and multi-functional stage lighting to provide an added depth and atmosphere to a performance to the stage.

Shilpakala Vedika can also be used for mini-functions and conferences, as the centre has three mini-halls that can bear 50 to 200 people in one sitting, set theatre-style. It also has an aesthetic roof garden that can bear about 100 to 150 guests for organising parties. There are also three circular multi-utility halls with a central atrium that can hold 1000 people, perfect for large parties, ceremonies, and exhibitions and the complete hall has central air condition system that makes people comfortable.

People expected that ShilpaKala Vedika is going to take the place of Ravindra Bharathi when it was opened in 2002 but later ShilpaKala Vedika has to be the second biggest and famous Auditorium in Hyderabad after Ravindra Bharathi.
